Award-winning ALAWARI is a Copenhagen-based musical project with a European sound that brings modern history together in one burning expression. Fragments from ancient wars and revolutions resonate in the music that brings both elements of classical music and jazz into a strong format that has never been more relevant.

Clapper
Hailing from Aarhus, Denmark, the quartet Clapper juxtaposes classic soul and fusion jazz vibes with inspiration from instrumental hiphop and future beats.
The four members—Frederik Emil Bülow (drums), Adrian Christensen (bass), Jeppe Lavsen (guitar), and Malthe Jepsen (piano & Rhodes)—are well-known faces in Danish music, also playing in acts such as Abekejser, Hvalfugl, Karmen Rõivassepp Quartet, Bangin’ Bülows Nice Jazz Quartet, and Casper Hejlesen Kvartet, respectively.

Dana Alshihaby
Dana Alshihaby is a singer who seamlessly blends the soulful traditions of Arabic music with contemporary musical expressions.
In 2024, Dana performed at renowned festivals such as Roskilde Festival, Surround Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and Folkemødet. She has also delivered intimate solo a cappella performances and shared her musical vision on stages in Syria, Lebanon, and Denmark for over 15 years. Most recently, she appeared on K-Live, where she reflected on her musical journey, which began in Syria and continues to transcend borders.

Homesickness is an indie-folk/jazz/post-rock septet framed around the tranquil and pensive artistic voice of Copenhagen-based singer, guitarist, lyricist and painter, Malthe Junge.

Kosmos Trio plays original, modern jazz in a minimalist and Nordic-sounding sound universe, and was the winner of Jazzdanmark's Jazz Competition 2023. In October 2022, Kosmos Trio released their debut album Letter to a Friend through April Records, which has received good coverage among both national and international jazz magazines.
